Bryce & Eliska’s wedding was set in the beautiful beach front pines at Matarangi, a small village on the Coromandel Peninsula. It was so lovely to part of this very special and intimate wedding party. Something I’ve learnt with weddings is to take everything in your stride and trust that it will work out for the best. This was true for Bryce and Eliska’s bridal portraits as our initial plan to go over the hill to Whangapoua Beach was trumped by the fact that the day before the beach had been absolutely covered in smelly seaweed. So we ended up heading just a bit further in the other direction to Otama one of my favourite beaches on the Coromandel. It was such a fun day cruising around with these two adventurers. I’m pretty sure Otama will remain a special place for Bryce & Eliska too. After their first dance we snuck away for some golden hour shots. First down to the beach in front of the marquee and then to Matarangi wharf.
