Tauranga wedding photographer – Danika Fanshawe
I first got to meet Nat and Arryn for their engagement shoot on Nat’s family farm in Papamoa near Mt Maunganui. The farm had recently been turned into a reserve in order to preserve it from being developed. We took the gravel road to the top and I was blown away by the incredible views looking out to Mt Maunganui. It was such an amazing experience and I knew from then, that these two super kind humans had something special.
For their wedding day Nat got ready at her family home. It was filled with history and memoirs of the lives that had grown and been nurtured there. I love this part of the wedding day when everything is calm yet the anticipation is building as the wedding draws nearer. My favourite moment was Nat’s bridesmaids first look as they hadn’t yet seen her dress. It was such a special moment between friends.
The wedding was held at the Ataahua Garden Venue situated in the suburb of Pyes Pa, only a short 10 minute drive from the Tauranga city. There is so much to love about this venue – not only that it is so beautifully presented but the staff are amazing as well.
The weather had been a little drizzly that morning but the rain held off for a beautiful heartfelt ceremony taken by marriage celebrant Miriama Smith. So many touching moments and just gorgeousness all round.
